Communicating with plants

A One Day Workshop on Sat July 11

Time: 9:30 am – 5:00 pm

In plant medicine, the art of honoring the relationship between living beings extends to that of the plant world. This relationship is more than an intellectual understanding of a plant’s biochemical makeup but a capacity to sense its vibration. Communicating with plants helps us to get out of our anthropocentrism and connect with nature in an another dimension: a vertical dimension that opens the door to all possibilities. Communicating with plants reactivates the signature of the plant buried deep in the cells of our bodies. We gain a more profound understanding of the plant’s ‘being’ and can therefore work more precisely and authentically with it in the healing environment. ¬†

This one day course is an introduction to ‘Plant Communication’. We will work on sensing the vibratory world through our subtle senses, the doors of perception and sequencing the contact with the plant. Time will be spent looking at how to create the optimal environment for plant communication and the five ‘bugs’ that act as barriers to authentic relating with plants.

To learn more about Plant Communication see Cathy’s article.

Cathy Skipper has lived in rural France for the last 25 years. A herbalist, teacher and gardener, she trained at the Ecole Lyonnaise de Plantes M√©dicinales in Lyon, France, where she now teaches. She participated for four years in an experimental approach to energetic healing called ‘Life cell’ under French Kinesiologist, Caroline Gupta. Her plant training also included a two year course with Claude Lefebvre on Plant Communication, she is currently translating his recent book on the subject into English.
Cathy‘s work involves building bridges between aromatic medicine and herbalism as well as recognising the importance of healing the healer and reconnecting with nature. In her teaching she marries, theory, practical work and energetics with an underlying intention of helping students develop an intuitive relationship between themselves, the plant/essential oil and the patient in order to impulse healing.
