An Advanced Training in Equine Assisted Therapy by Win Simon and Florian Birkmayer MD
Saturday October 17 9AM-12PM CEUs available $65
You’re interested and perhaps already doing Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT), but you don’t know how to take it to the next level. You are uncertain about how to come up with a Treatment Plan for EAT. You are unsure how to talk to your colleagues about EAT and how to integrate EAT with other treatments that you do (such as art therapy for example) or that your clients are in. Or you just like to feel the healing power of horses in a fun and relaxed setting. Join us for a 3 hour advanced EAT training that focuses on Treatment Planning and Integrating EAT with other modalities.
This class is designed for Counselors, Social Workers, Art Therapists, Marriage and Family Therapists and anyone else that is already utilizing or a ready to start utilizing equine assisted therapy (EAT) or working with clients who are also in EAT (with another therapist) or collaborating with therapists that utilize EAT. Therapists and other healers who are curious about equine assisted therapy are also welcome.
Win Simon is a Level 2 EAGALA-Certified Equine Therapist and horse whisperer.
Florian Birkmayer MD is a holistic psychiatrist and certified in Equine Therapy by Greg Kiersen’s OK Corral Series.
